Where We Invest

Providing infrastructure to meet America’s energy needs

Solving Energy Challenges at Scale

Unprecedented levels of investment are needed across multiple sectors to support state, federal, and global decarbonization goals. Monumental shifts in the energy system have created challenges which threaten our ability to progress the Energy Transition in a meaningful way. Haddington Ventures invests in companies who are solving these energy challenges at scale.

Hydrogen Hubs

Green Hydrogen can play an important role in the energy transition by providing a means of long-duration storage of excess renewable electricity, as well as act as an emissions-free fuel for resource intensive sectors like heavy transport and power generation. Hydrogen Hubs will be key to building out this new energy system by providing the production, storage, and transportation needed to bring this product to market at scale.

Energy Storage

The energy transition will require storage of both traditional and renewable energy products at scale to withstand increased market volatility. Salt cavern storage offers the unique advantage of storing large amounts of energy, over long periods of time, with no meaningful product losses, and much lower lifecycle costs.

Critical Minerals

With an almost non-existent supply of domestic lithium, the continued deployment of electric vehicles and battery storage depends on our ability to secure supply from foreign countries. This situation has forced the US to look at novel ways of producing lithium from new and unconventional sources.
